Hey everyone! I wanted to share some of my beats that I use on Acoustica Beatcraft.
I use them to practice different musical styles.
To use the beats, download Beatcraft and open up the beats. You can change the tempo.
The better time Beatcraft project helps me a lot because it forces you keep increasingly better time as the pauses in the hihat get longer.
I also practice with just the clave almost everyday and I think it helps me to get a good feel for the mambo stuff.
2020 Update
I still love Beatcraft, but because I ended switching to a Mac, I don’t use Beatcraft at the moment. I never really program beats per se on the Mac – but I do use GarageBand/Logic for similar practice. Plus, I use the Clave app, ProMetronome and iTabla!
